ThIs universal repair lock is designed to replace uPVC door locks with a 35mm backset. The repair lock comes in three pieces and is complemented with a three piece keep and three steel hooks, placed top, middle and bottom. It has an easily reversible latch with snib, making it non-handed and therefore suitable for both left and right handed opening doors. This universal door lock repair kit also comes with optional to install tidy plates which can be used to cover up any left over holes left by the previous latch plate and keep.
The top and bottom hook sections can be cropped to size allowing you to fit the hook gearboxes into the existing routed out holes on your door.

Will it fit my door?
This universal door lock has been designed to fit most uPVC doors, but to be sure it will fit your door you just need to look at 3 simple measurements.- Measure the backset: Measure the distance between the centre of the cylinder and the metal faceplate of the lock (not the edge of the door) - this needs to 35mm.
- Measure the PZ centres: Measure the distance between the centre of the cylinder and the centre of the door handle - this needs to be 92mm.
- Measure the faceplate: Measure the width of the metal faceplate on your existing lock this must be 16mm.
