Choosing the right window and door hardware is easier when you measure accurately. Below are general tips — and our team is always happy to help if you're unsure.
Multipoint locks
Measure the backset (centre of the keyhole to the edge of the faceplate), the PZ (spindle-to-cylinder distance) and the overall length.
Cylinders
Measure from the centre fixing screw to each end of the cylinder to get the two sizes (e.g. 40/50).
Window handles
Note the spindle length and whether it is left- or right-handed.
